China Holidays will offer a FULL range of guided tours across China to fit in with your trip to Beijing to see the Olympics. We have been organising travel to China for 10 years so we know what is possible within this vast country.

Here we give some answers to the many questions that we are still receiving.

Hotels reservations

As at 6th May 2008 there are still some rooms available in 4* hotels in Beijing - best for you to try to book these yourself via the web booking engines available. There is no advantage of booking through agents as it seems there is just one price of the rooms and no matter how many rooms we book we are still only being quoted the standard rack rate. 

Sporting events

Tickets seems to be in very short supply but they are now available and 'on sale' via Sportsworld www.sportsworld.co.uk
We strongly recommend against trying to acquire event tickets other than through the properly authorised Channels.  

Flights

Most airlines have now published their schedules and prices for the peak periods of travel for August 2008, in addition we believe some large UK travel companies may put on Chartered Flights exclusively for the Olympics.  We recommend using your favorite search engines to seek out the best ‘flight only’ deals. We are aware that Travel Places have some availability so if you are stuck for flights we suggest you contact  Dave or Debbie  on 01903 832888 .

Add on Tours around China

China Holidays will produce a full program of specialist tours that will be available as ‘add on' tours to your stay in Beijing during August 2008. We will not be organising any sightseeing in Beijing except, possibly trips to the Great Wall. We will however be able to make arrangements for any tour in the rest of China, which you may require to fit in with your stay in Beijing ;  we have suspended our main sight-seeing tours during August 2008 but we will be very happy  to tailor make  to fit your  particular requirements.
